Christian Living and Decision Making Thrive Sign-up

As Christ followers we are called to glorify Him in everything we do. This includes many of the ordinary decisions we make throughout life: where to live; what job to take; how to spend our time; how to prioritize competing demands that are all good and important. How do we make decisions that honor God? This is a question that believers have wrestled with throughout the ages. This class will be part church history, part Bible study, and part practical learning. We’ll look at several decision-making models purporting to teach us how to make Christ-honoring decisions (imitation, communion, law, wisdom). We will highlight the centrality of fundamental biblical categories such as creation, sin, wisdom, and discernment; and discuss principles related to prayer, communion, and fellowship to help us make Christ-honoring decisions.
